Fitness Opportunities

Get involved with your mind and body connection. Whether you are a beginner or experienced, these classes will help you gain a better understanding of physical awareness, flexibility, and strength.

Classes are on going unless otherwise stated. Beginners are welcome and you can join anytime. 

 

Tai Chi with Jon Doll & Jane Lang*

Jon Doll has studied and practiced martial arts, meditation, mindfulness, and yoga for nearly 50 years. The intensity level of tai chi is what you make it. Fitness FLEX Pass is required for Tai Chi. A 24 punch pass can be purchased from staff for $24/friends or $36/guests.

Yoga with MaryAnn Dolson*

Join yoga to enjoy a great sense of well-being. The yoga movements (poses) help to create a better relationship with one’s body by increasing strength, stamina, flexibility, and balance. Pranayama (breath work) and meditation are integrated into the class. Everyone is welcome and each participant works at his or her own level and comfort. First class is FREE! Yoga is $5/class with payments made directly to Mary Ann Dolson.

Walking Club

Join Rachel for a walk around Sheboygan County! We will start at the same location throughout the week.

MONDAY, WEDNESDAY, and FRIDAY at 11:00am.

NOTE: Walking Club is canceled on rain days. There may be times when Rachel is not able to walk with the group. When this happens, a volunteer will be asked to lead the walk. Walking Club will be heading into winter hibernation starting Monday, November 30. See you in the spring!

 

 

EASY: Green classes have easier movements and involve more stationary movements.
MODERATE: Orange classes include moderate activity, but will also boost your heart rate.
CHALLENGING: Red classes have complex movements and involve a higher heart rate.
